When did you start blogging?
I started blogging in 2006. How time flies! It has been 7 years by now.
Back then, I blogged randomly about everything happened to me when I was living
in Malaysia. It was more like my e-diary. Only until year 2011, I started blogging
about Fashion and getting more and more passionate about it. I never thought of
blogging would be my full time job before. Apparently, it is now.
What motivates you to dress up everyday?
Other than a Fashion Blogger, I'm
also a professional Latin/ Ballroom dancer who is always up for performances,
shows and competitions. Nature of my job requires me to always look my best
whenever I'm on the dance floor or on the stage. Dressing up nicely everyday
has become my habit and character for that reason. Also, I need to meet up many
clients in a day, I do not want to make them feel disappointed in seeing the
huge difference between an offline and online Crystal. But most importantly,
dressing up everyday will make a person look good and feel good. I believe,
when a woman feels good about herself, she can conquer the world.
What are your favorite beauty items?
My favorite beauty items would be: Biore sunscreen, Lancome
Hypnose mascara, Calvin Klein Euphoria perfume, Dior lipstick, Urban Decay
eyeshadow palette & Maybelline eyeliner.
Any other passions aside from fashion?
Besides fashion, I also have huge passion in dancing and acting. I've
been dancing for 11 years and I'm still dancing. It helps me to maintain a good
body shape and healthy lifestyle. Occasionally, I also act in some local TV
shows, dramas in Singapore.
What do you love the most about living in Singapore?
There are too many things I love about living in Singapore. The
country is so green and clean, people are very nice, friendly and kind. There
are huge varieties of foods (from Mexican, Italian, Spanish, to Thai,
Vietnamese, Chinese, Indian etc...) and they are all so delicious. Night life
in Singapore is great with many bars, clubs, restaurants around. Not to
mention, Singapore city skyline is simply breathtaking.
